‘Bull’ Sculptor: ‘Fearless Girl’ Infringes On My Rights

A representative for sculptor Arturo Di Modica said the artist is demanding New York City officials release documents enumerating the procedures it followed in granting a permit for the newly-installed “Fearless Girl” statue. So reports The New York Post.

The “Fearless Girl” statue will remain facing his “Charging Bull” until at least February under the permit. Di Modica said the “presence of ‘Fearless Girl’ infringes on his own artistic copyright to the ‘Charging Bull,’ by changing the creative dynamic to include the other bold presence,” according to the article. It is unclear if and when a lawsuit will be filed.
