‘Legendary’ Pot Mogul Facing Pot Charges in Kentucky

The "legendary" outlaw John Robert "Johnny" Boone has been deported from Canada to face marijuana charges in Kentucky. So reports the Times Union.

Boone, known as the Godfather of Grass, disappeared to Canada after federal agents nearly apprehended him. He was handed over to U.S. authorities at the Highgate Springs port of entry, the article reads, then was sent to a federal court in Burlington.

He was previously incarcerated for what was deemed the "largest domestic marijuana syndicate in American history." He fled to Canada in 2008, after he was indicted in Kentucky on additional federal marijuana charges.
