Attorney Daniel Petrocelli asked the trial be delayed until early next year as Trump prepares for his upcoming presidency. The lawsuit against Trump alleges the university failed to teach real estate business success tactics as advertised and is set for Nov. 28.
The 2010 suit asserts the unaccredited Trump University “gave seminars and classes across the country that were like infomercials, pressuring people to spend up to $35,000 for mentorships and, in the end, failing on its promise to teach success in real estate,” according to the article. The case mirrors a complaint in San Diego and a New York lawsuit.
