Cowboys' Bryant Sued for Allegedly Destroying Rental Home

Texas state senator Royce West is suing star NFL wide receiver Dez Bryant for allegedly leaving a rental home owned by the Lone Star State Senator in disrepair. So reports The New York Post.

Court papers state the property, which was returned to West earlier this year, was “littered with trash and feces, missing blinds and shutters,” and had “cracked windows and blackened carpeting.”

Bryant was renting the property for $4,720-per-month since September of 2013. He is accused of leaving without a proper inspection, per the lease. Bryant was supposed to leave the property in the condition he found it. Instead, repairs totaled more than $61,000 and West is seeking between $100,000 and $200,000.
