Hulk Hogan Had Financial Help in Gawker Sex-tape Lawsuit

Former professional wrestler Hulk Hogan had some financial help winning his $140 million invasion of privacy lawsuit against Gawker, as PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel said he acted as Hogan's benefactor in a recent article from The New York Times. So reports ABC News.

Hogan sued Gawker after the company published a video of him having sex. Thiel has had bad blood with Gawker since it published an article dealing with his sexuality. He also said he has backed other lawsuits against Gawker to help protect those who may not have the financial means to do so on their own, but declined to identify the specific suits.
