Okla. Gov. Vetoes Felony Abortion Bill

The Oklahoma Senate passed a bill that makes it a felony to perform an abortion. However, on Friday, Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin vetoed the bill saying it was "so ambiguous" and "so vague" that it couldn't stand up to a legal challenge. So reports The Washington Post.  

If the bill had become law it would have put Oklahoma at odds with federal statue. The bill would have revoked the medical licenses of doctors who perform abortions, unless the mother’s life was endangered. There was no exception for incest or rape.
