Consumer Bankruptcy Reports Fall Significantly

Bankruptcy reports declined for the year ending in December 2015 by almost 10%. So reports Bloomberg BNA.

The decline was apparent in both business and non-business bankruptcies, but Chapter 11 filings, which apply to businesses or individuals with debts that exceed the statutory thresholds for Chapter 13, increased. So did Chapter 12 filings, which apply to family farmers or fishermen.
