Faux Lawyer Guilty of 16 Counts in Florida 'Bilking' Case

“Fake lawyer” Kenneth Frank was found guilty of tricking people into believing he was an attorney in order to charge for services he was not actually allowed to provide. So reports the Sun Sentinel.

Frank was found guilty of 16 counts and the jury recommended an 11-year prison sentence. Frank’s defense attorneys said the businessman never claimed to be a lawyer, while prosecutors allege he illegally practiced law, including negotiating a commercial lease, and took money for it. Sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 27.
